The College of Pharmacy (COP) celebrated their 50th Anniversary with the First Grand Alumni Homecoming, featuring graduates from Batch 1985 up to Batch 2026, at the VMUF Event Center last October 24, 2026.

Under the theme “Back to Where it All Began: 50 Years of Excellence, Shaping Generations of Exceptional Character”, the event had a motorcycle, a wreath-laying ceremony, parade of batches, and a thanksgiving mass that was attended as well by the faculty, staff, and students.

Dr. Roselle S. Arbas delivered the welcome remarks as the Interim Alumni Association President. Followed by messages from the University President, Dr. Ma. Lilia Posadas-Juan; and the Vice President for Administration and Alumni Affairs Director, Dr. Angelo B. Juan.

Prof. Maria Fay Nette M. Cariaga, RPh, MsPh, PhD, Chair of the Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA) Professional Specialization Committee, was resource speaker for the event.

Aside from the different class reunion, Prof. Cariaga also led the RxCEL: Professional Enrichment Lecture, which was provided by the PPhA, carrying two Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Units as part of the program.

The Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Inc. began offering BS Pharmacy in 1976. To this day, the COP continues to commemorate their long-standing legacy by producing “Pharmacists with Exceptional Character.”
