The VMUF Research Development and Planning Center (Research Center) is a service unit under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs necessary on achieving a culture of research for quality education. In realizing and achieving the philosophy of the university, this office aims to
Help in concretizing VMUF vision and mission toward research excellence;
Assist in creating an environment conducive to the conduct of scholarly research;
Assist in making research an integrated academic and professional activity of all faculty undertakings;
Help focus the research activities of the faculty toward improving the quality of life;
Promote research in support to a relevant teaching function; and
Disseminate research related in information to internal and external users.
Assistance to student, faculty and non-teaching staff researchers on research methodologies including instrument development and validity and reliability testing
Assistance to student, faculty and non-teaching staff researchers on appropriate statistical methods
Provides facility logistics for laboratory/experimental researches with its state-of-the-art laboratory
Training of University personnel for research capability-building
Evaluation of the University’s services, functions and activities, as well as those of its workforce.
Provide information to its linkages in the government and to other external users to serve as bases and inputs for their policy formulation and for possible program adoption.
