SERVICES
The Office of Student Affairs - serves to promote the welfare of the students. It coordinates the following services: Guidance, Testing, Student organizations and activities Student publications and athletics.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICES

The Guidance and Testing Center assists students in developing a better under skills and career interests. Career and educational resource information is available to assist students in choosing and pursuing meaningful careers.
Testing. The Guidance and Testing Center offers various vocational, interest, personality and aptitude tests to assist students in forming their career goals. These tests help give students a better understanding of their own personalities, interests and abilities, and how they might fit into the job market.
Counseling. VMUF provides a variety of counseling services, Students are encouraged to seek counseling whether the primarily want information of require assistance with a situation of immediate concern.

INFORMATION SERVICE

Which imparts about personality development, mental, personal, moral, spiritual, vocational, occupational, career opportunities and social aspects of individual's life.. The info provided will be valuable to students in making decisions and plans.

LIBRARY RESOURCES AND SERVICES

The Library - one main library and seven branches - serves the entire campus community. Its book collection of more than 77,000 volumes is enriched by Audio-Visual materials; moreover Philippine and foreign serials supplement research and educational programs. Special collections include Filipiniana literature and academic researches conducted by faculty and students.
These resources provide current as well as historical material to support curricular offerings, materials for personal research and recreational listening and reading. Professional librarians and support staff are on duty to assist users in satisfying their information needs.
The Library issues a handbook with information on facilities services and rules/regulations for maximum utilization of the library.

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CENTER

a. The VMUF is equipped with Audio -Visual hardware and software for students, faculty and staff.
b. Film showing (screen & beta) are programmed to suit student needs.

INTERNET SERVICES

The Internet Center and Information Technology Services is located at the 4th floor Centrum building and it has more or less 100 computer units specifically for internet surfing by students and faculty alike. Twelve computer units likewise were installed at MedClick Station located at the 2nd floor of the Medicine building for the medicine students research needs.
VMUF provides all students and employees with broadband internet access (6 mbps Wireless Internet Connection) for their resources to enrich their educational experience, to make use of the appropriate information communication technology tools in their learning and research works. Likewise, the faculty members for their teaching, research, outreach, administration, and support activities to be able to sustain continuous improvement in the University's ability to fulfill diverse mission.
The university is also offering a WiFi internet access across the campus for the entire VMUF community especially for those with mobile devices such as laptop, notebook. netbook, PDA smart phones and other mobile devices. Most of the classrooms at 4th floor Centrum building were provided with computer units, wired internet connection and other multimedia technologies to facilitate teaching and learning process.

COLLEGE STORE

The VMUF Commissary is the college store which sells, school supplies, classroom teaching and learning aids, dry goods, and a lot of items needed by students and teachers at a minimal cost.

HEALTH SERVICES

The University maintains a Health Center located on campus to care for students during periods of illness or in the eventually of an accident. The University does not assume responsibility for the comprehensive medical care of its students but only that which is within the limits imposed by the size and professional status of its staff, by legal obligations and by available facilities.

Students will be referred to their family physician, to a local community physician or to a local hospital for services not presently available through the Health Center.

The University assumes no responsibility for injuries sustained through the use of any of its facilities, laboratories, athletic fields nor for injuries sustained in classes or athletic competitions.

POSTAL SERVICE

The University has a post office within the campus which takes care of the mail services of the Virgen Milagrosa Complex.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The Council of Student Leaders performs administrative functions for the Student Body and acts as an advisory board to the Director of Student Affairs on matters pertaining to student welfare, student activities, student participation in college affairs and student opinion. Student Body officers and members of the CSL Council are expected to meet high standards of characters and scholastic achievement.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS

An extensive and comprehensive intramural program of individual and team sports is provided for men and women. Intramural team sports serve students who desire to participate under organized game conditions.

The intramural program is conducted in addition to the regular physical education program in which all students are given personalized instruction. Organized sports include basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis, track & field and other sport events.

INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS

Opportunities to participate in a variety of intercollegiate sports are available for VMUF students. Intercollegiate teams for men and women are fielded in basketball, volleyball, softball, track and field and tennis. VMUF is currently an associate member of the Private Schools Athletic associations (PRISAA) and National Games.

CONVOCATIONS

College as well as class convocations shall be occasions for presenting to the student the view of distinguished persons on topics of academic or national interest. The invitation of speakers or lectures shall be done with the approval of the President.

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

There are numerous recognized student organizations. These organizations are of various types and sizes and are for the purposes of serving the voluntary interests of the students, and to the development of a well-rounded personality.

CAMPUS PUBLICATIONS

The campus newspapers, THE VIRGINIAN, is produced by a student staff and its published quarterly. It is managed by Editors or Editorial Staff, membership of which is by competitive exams and election. Colleges may have their separate papers funded by the students.

ALUMNI AFFAIRS

The Director of Alumni Relations coordinates the activities of the VMUF Alumni Association. The association sponsors all alumni activities and services, including the annual homecoming reunion.
